Tuula Teeri holds a Ph.D. from the University of Helsinki (1987) and was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 2004. She has served as Vice President of the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in Stockholm where she started out as a guest professor in 1996 and was given a professorship in 1998. She has published more than 180 scientific articles. She has been a member of IVA’s Chemical Engineering division since 2006 and of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Technology Academy Finland (TAF) and the Swedish Academy of Technology in Finland. She is a cofounder of SweTree Technologies.
